So, here I am. Two days after my last Neverending Pasta Bowl for nearly a year. Of course we did a little take out action and I’m here to tell you just how the reheating process went. Important fact: I refrigerated — not froze — my pasta.
I popped my styrofoam take-out box brimful of Fettuccine Alfredo into the trusty old microwave and set it for 2:30 with 70% power. This worked acceptably, although the center was still cold. Seeing this, I put it back in and did another 2:00, this time on a risky 100% power setting. After hearing slight sounds of distress around the 1:30 mark, I removed it from the microwave leaving the remaining thirty seconds for another day.

There was some significant buckling of the styrofoam container, so if you have the means I would suggest re-dishing the pasta.
Sometimes reheating can cause issues with alfredo sauce, which is what I had to work with. If the sauce isn’t creamy enough, reheating can cause it to turn into an oily mess. The Neverending Pasta Bowl alfredo though, seems quite resilient to this effect. There is some separation of the oil and cheese, but not too much. The cheese remains tasty, and the oil keeps the pasta tasting fresh as ever.

From this evidence we can clearly see that performing take-out at Olive Garden is not a half-bad idea.
