You’ve seen the television commercials for Olive Garden’s Neverending Pasta Bowl. Don’t tell me you haven’t.

Here’s the concept: it’s pasta and it doesn’t stop. It’s just you and the sauces and however much you can put away.

A high concept, to be sure, but how does it stack up?

I love the Neverending Pasta Bowl. I love it. It’s such an incredible deal. As many breadsticks as you want, soup, and as much pasta as you can physically handle.

There are quite a few different combinations, and all the sauces are very delicious.

The only issue with this meal is that you are almost always filled up on the first plate, and there is no reason to go back for seconds. Ah well, such is marketing.

Pro Tip: You can mix pasta types in one bowl, and you can get a second bowl of a different type of pasta.

Neverending. An almost threatening term. But at Olive Garden, the Neverending Pasta Bowl is a welcoming and nearly mythical dish. Its combinations of delicious sauces and range of pasta types makes this a standout.

However, “neverending” can only go so far. As depending on your hunger level, you could probably eat on average, one and a half pastas, give or take half a pasta.

And really, only some of the pasta combos are that good. Several of the sauces are very generic and the same goes for the pastas. But, if you do pick and choose wisely, this can be an excellent meal for you.

BEWARE
Make sure the Neverending Pasta Bowl is still going on at the Olive Garden near you as it is a seasonal dish.
